How to acquire totems
Totems are special game items that can be acquired exclusively on the Aphelium Grind Market using our grind token $AFG — find out more about how it works here.
Totems can then be traded on secondary markets like Atomichub and NeftyBlocks.

How they work
Totems need to be staked on your land like any other tool. Once staked your land will get a boost in its appeal and discoverability, increasing its probability to get picked during working and exploration activities of other players.
You can stake only one totem per type per land, meaning you can’t stake 2x Galactic Guardian’s totem on the same land.
Higher tier totems will soon grant also a boost in the land protection, increasing the chance to protect it from other player trying siphoning during their wander sessions.
