Skills are an integral part of the Aphelium gameplay, affecting a player's ability to explore, craft, trade and earn in the game. This add depth and diversity to the astronauts experience, enabling them to specialize their in-game characters and unlock unique actions and boosts.
What are Skills?
In Aphelium, skills are abilities that players can unlock to perform specific actions or receive boosts. Each skill improves a certain part of the game, so it's important to strategize about the best ways to use your skill points. As a character levels up, they gain Skill Points, which can be used to get new skills or make existing skills better.
To see the skills and to start using them, you need to log into the Aphelium website with your Discord account. There is a page just for skills, where Astronauts can look after and build up their character's skills.
The Aphelium Skill Tree
The Aphelium skill tree is divided into four main groups: Crafting, Exploring, Money, and Trading. Each group has its own unique set of skills that cater to different aspects of the game.
- Crafting Skills: These skills enable your character to create items and cook food.
- Artisan’s Eye: Unlocks the ability to craft items.
- Dish Rookie: Grants the ability to cook food.
- Exploring Skills: These skills enhance the exploration activities.
- Pathfinder Instinct: Unlocks the /explore command, allowing players to find a random land and obtain a random amount of resources between 5 and 70 units. This skill has 5 levels, and each level increases the amount of resources players can get.
- Cosmic Species Spotter: Enable the aliens encountering while exploring.
- Money Skills: This skill increases the revenue from working.
- Wage Wizardy: Allows Astronauts to earn 5% more while working. This skill has 5 levels, with each level increasing the revenue they earn.
- Trading Skills: These skills enable the participation in the marketplace.
- Bargain Hunter: Unlocks the ability to buy items from the marketplace.
- Merchant’s Charm: Enables the ability to sell items on the marketplace.
